ALCOHOL ALERT
This is a 2-hour psycho-educational, prevention level program. The therapist explains how the drug alcohol is a powerful intoxicant and discusses its dramatic effects on the body and the brain. Participants learn the signs and symptoms of high-risk drinking and the risk factors for developing alcoholism.
Students are given clear, targeted information to help them evaluate warning signs and understand their personal risk factors for alcoholism in an effort to prevent patterns of abuse from developing.
Classes are monthly, usually on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 6-8 p.m. at the Main Office. Check the calendar for the next class.
